I talked with Ken and Sue tonight and they will be checking with Shiela about creating this blog to get everyone correct and timely update on the condition of Gordon. Please keep Gordon and his family in your prayers.

Mahalo to all who surround Gord with Aloha and prayers yesterday. Sheila and the entire family appreciate it so very much.
ReplyDeleteThe news today is that the plan for Gord will be travelling by Medivac tomorrow morning at 7 am to Foothills Hospital in Calgary.
The family is visiting with him today and Sheila will be spending the night at the hospital and depart from there with Gord around 5 am.
Gord's heart went into atrial fibrulation earlier today and this is being managed by medication.
A cathater has been inserted for Gord so all of the medications he needs during travel can get to him in the most efficent manner.

Gord and Sheila arrived in Calgary at 3:40 - Gord's only complaint was the lack of food, and that it's freezing there! (kidding about the food) but they are freezing! Sheila was in good spirits - They are on their way to Foothills Hospital - that's all for now! Su & Ken

ReplyDeleteI wasn't able to sleep and finally got up to write down my thoughts to clear my mind at 3:30 am. I logged on to my email, and my heart just dropped in reading the news of Gord. Colby, thank you so much for the email in informing us of Gord's health crisis. Sheila, you and Gord are in our thoughts and prayers. Please let us know if there is anything we can do for you.

ReplyDeleteUpon awakening this morning, Kathie told me of Gord's recent crisis and I am so grateful that he and Sheila have family and friends around them. With all our prayers and positive energy, I know Gord will pull through. Sheila, we are thinking of you both and tell Gord the Texans are pulling for him. We love y'all!
Thank you for setting up this site - so great to be informed... It is comforting to have Gord back in Calgary; we feel so helpless and cannot imagine what the family must be going through - our hearts go out to you all. It was nice to see Richard & Vonnie yesterday and felt so good just being able to talk about our special friend. Sheila, you're a pillar of strength; we have faith and conviction that with all the wonderful support from family & friends, Gord will pull through, he's a strong & determined guy!
