Well, today is THE day and we made it full circle. Gord is very aware of this 1st anniversary of his stroke. It is morning and we are just getting going and I am not sure how we will handle today. My original plan was to take a drive to Makawao and visit an acupuncturist that apparently is excellent. First I will do some research to see if this is a good direction to head in or if it is just wasted time. Walking on the beach is a bit tentative this past 2 days as we are having winds that kind of eat away at the sand and make it too soft to easily walk on. That's okay though because we have great hallways and stairwells for walking.
Yesterday we took a ride and found one of the great mysteries of our life in Maui. The famous "Jaws" was a very bumpy ride down a long dusty road but the arrival was spectacular. This is where the surfers are brought in to surf by waveriders . The waves can get to 50 feet high - which is expected today and tomorrow - apparently. We will NOT be going back to take pictures - ever. I will be happy to direct people to the turnoff though.
The other mystery I need to solve is this constant beeping I hear when I sit at the computer. It is really getting annoying! And speaking of computer, we have a webcam now so if anyone has Skype - call us! I think you just send your call to our email. gbosch@rttinc.com or sheilabosch@hotmail.com
Try it. It's fun.
So have a great day everyone. I know we will. I am so glad I chose "Life" when I was given the choice to make for Gord's survival. It was worth it.
Lots of Love
Sheila
