OMG I am soooo envious. Gord you look awesome and happy. Good for you guys. The new condo looks great. What is the excavator doing on the beach?Gord did you get to supervise? Keep up the hardwork, it looks to be paying off. Love to the both of you. Mrs D
To answer Mrs. D. The excavator on the beach is digging up old pieces of a sailboat that broke away from it's mooring about 5 years ago. We were here and helped to pick up the pieces as the waves smashed it apart. The hull and engine and lots of wires and rough metal remained under the sand until about a month ago when a little girl was playing in that exact spot and cut her foot on some metal. I believe it was the County that sent the excavator to get all the debris out of the water - finally. Gord, Ken and Jack actually pulled a lot of it out at that time with our old Nissan. The poor guy that owned the sailboat only had it for about a week and was actually sleeping on it the night the storm hit. He tried to get help but could not keep the boat away from the shore long enough. I don't think he had insurance at that point. Tough lesson. Thanks for reading the blog!!!! Lots of love Sheila
Great minds think alike! Had the same comments/questions as "Mrs.D" 504 looks great, zoomed in on the photos...love the granite choice, etc. of course the view doesn't need a comment!!

OHHHHH your home is so beautiful! Well done! You have your navy and white :) I remember when that sailboat washed ashore, and no the owner did not have any insureance, as he was preparing to take it over to the big island to live. He tried so hard to save it. I remember Jack in the water with bare feet. Crazy guy from saskabush not used to water:) Looks like things are going well, keep up the good work. Miss you guys so much! xox Evelyn
